Who needs a gym when you have an RV! Jon got creative to get in his regular training using our RV ladder, tow dolly and patio area. This training session hit all body parts and was a great workout! 💪
What are all of you doing for your quarantine workouts?

My workout:
1) Ladder pull-ups = 3 sets as many reps as possible (AMRAP)
2) Side to side push-ups = 3 sets (AMRAP)
3) Tow dolly 1 arm deadlifts = 3 sets x 6 reps each side
4) Bent over shoulder press = 3 sets (AMRAP)
5) Pistol squats = 3 sets x 5 reps each leg
6) Load jumps = 3 sets x 4 reps
7) RV ladder ab corkscrews = 3 sets (AMRAP)

Good times at Jon`s pre-bday celebration! Culinary Dropout aka The Yard on 7th St is an awesome place to hangout with cool architecture, indoor/outdoor spaces, good food, and a lot of fun entertainment including ping pong, corn hole and foosball.

We kicked off Jon`s birthday festivities with our traditional "age is just a number" hike in our favorite Superstition Mountains. Peak 5024 challenged us with steep unrelenting grades, rock scrambling and technical climbs. The sense of accomplishment and views made it worth the pain! 😎

It has been a challenging and stressful several weeks. First, we found ourselves dealing with various costly expected and unexpected RV fixes.
Then, we got a call that Jon`s dad was hospitalized for a stroke. Dad had been the primary caregiver for Jon’s mom, who has advanced dementia. Jon and his siblings found themselves scrambling to cover care for their mom, all while waiting to see what damage the stroke had done to their dad, and trying to figure out what changes would need to take place going forward.
We put our RV fixes on hold and Cathy stayed behind with the RV and cats while Jon flew home to AZ to help his siblings with coverage and make arrangements to move both parents into a care facility. After an almost 3-week stay, Dad was discharged from the hospital/acute rehab and moved to his new home at the care facility. After Dad was all settled in, they moved Mom in. After a couple weeks being apart, it was great to see his parents together again. ❤

One of the best ways we know to deal with stress is to get out in nature. We are grateful that our health allows us to do what we love and that the Oregon Coast offered cool temps, serene old growth forests, and stunning ocean views to recharge us. 🌲🌳⛰🏞
