Finally moved in!

It turns out that transitioning to full time RVing is keeping us rather busy! We started writing this post last month and are finally getting around to publishing it.  We have been keeping busy finishing projects in our RV and figuring out our new routines.  Now that we are getting more settled in, we hope to post more often.

Finally moved in!

After many delays and much more work than we anticipated, we finally moved out of our temporary apartment and spent our first night as full time RVers! The cats adapted surprisingly well to their new home. We stayed in the Roadrunner Campground at the Lake Pleasant Regioinal Park and we loved the beautiful scenery and spectacular sunsets!  Hard to believe that we lived in Arizona for 20 years and never visited before!

Some of our friends and family joined us for a night of camping.  Despite the gusty winds and cold temperature, we had a great time.  We set our attendance record in our RV with 12 people, 2 dogs and 3 cats!

We enjoyed our stay Lake Pleasant and would definitely stay there again when we are back in town!  Our next stop gives us a chance to try out our Thousand Trails membership at their Wilderness Lakes campground in Menifee, CA.  Next post coming soon!
